Orphans... In Mental Institutions

This sucks. It really really does.

What sucks?

Putting a child with Down Syndrome in a mental institution.

Why would they do that?

Because they turned 5...

What?!?!?!?! That's horrible! Who would do such a thing?

Governments that don't want to pay for their special care... That's who.

But, why? What's the reason? 

There isn't one... They don't want to have orphanage space taken up by a "monster."

You horrible person! Why would you call them monsters?

I'm not! I'm not! I love people with Special Needs! My family is in the process of adopting a baby with Down Syndrome from Lithuania. 

Than why would you call them that?????

A Russian judge. She said these innocent children were worthless...

Many of those children... Unfortunately, were placed in a mental institution. Some have died... Waiting. Waiting for a family.
